Charleston Kitchen is truly the Home of the Sweet & Savory Mini Pies.  Sweet Potato and Seafood are a big part of our family diet.  Our family home in Charleston, South Carolina always smelled like a restaurant from my grandma’s stews, soul food dishes, cakes, pies and homemade biscuits. The kitchen was always the gathering spot. And yet, it made sense why so much love, laughter and cooking took place in our kitchen. Ironically, I come from a family of cooks and bakers who cook and bake well, and they do it with love. Some of my fondest memories include sitting under my grandmother, Clara Jones (Matriarch) tasting all her delicious creations and gleaning from her late night cooking sessions where we yearned for a midnight snack. Growing up our neighbors and friends were always welcome to enjoy a meal at our house. At Charleston Kitchen we extend the same hospitality to you and your family.
